IT'S A BOY!!!

My brother and sister-in-law finally had their baby. To all of our suprise it was a boy. We all thought it was a girl and even started buying little girl clothes. Ha Ha well those were returned real fast don't worry. He was born on my sister-in-laws birthday August 22. They Named him Gage Matthew! He weighed 8lbs 6oz 20 1/2 inches long. He looks just like his sister and dad!

School starts off with a bang!

Well school has started off again and it has been really nice. I enjoy having something other to do besides work. But on the other hand its not so fun because my schedule sucks and I don't have time to do anything but work and go to school but I guess thats life right? My Tuesdays and Thursdays are super crappy I go to school from 7:30-4:30 with an hour break. Its just been so great. I am a little sad that I had to drop the class I have been looking forward to all summer though. I wanted to take ROTC but the lab for that messed up my schedule and I had to just end up dropping it. My school put on a free concert and it was Red Jumpsuit Apparatus that came and it was crazy. At first we were in the mosh pit and that was just awesome then we moved to the side which was way nice.

College living & Wedding Planning

Time is here again to move into a new apartment with new people and spaces. I just moved into my new apartment that I will be staying for the school year. Its really nice and a lot better then my last apartments. I still have 6 roommates but we all have our own bedrooms and bathrooms which is my favorite part. Everyone gets along better when that happens and believe me its the best thing. Its always crazy when you have to pack to move. You never know how much stuff you really have and try to compact stuff as much as you possibly can. Who knew 3 car loads and 4 flights of stairs one way could be so fun. I just love moving in by myself. I better have nice legs by the end of the school year or I am going to be mad lol.

No worries I am not the one getting married and it wont be me for a long time but anyways one of my really good friends is getting married. Its been crazy I have helped pick out everything so far from colors to rings to dresses to who knows what. Its been a fun experience and a stressful one. I am excited for them they are getting married on November 4, 2010. Which just happens to be my 20th Birthday so it should be fun. Her colors are chocolate brown and rust. Perfect for a fall wedding.

Surgery and Birthday Parties!

So when we were at Bear Lake I started getting really sick. I didn't think anything of it. I just thought it was a stomach ache because the food from dinner was really greasy. So Saturday we went to the beach and played around and then came home and I was still feeling really sick. So I took a nap and Ibprofren. I woke up and went swimming for our ward activity. I stayed in the pool the entire time we were there it made my stomach feel so much better. Around 5:00am I woke up with a fever and so I took some more Ibprofren and fell back to sleep. All day Sunday I stayed in bed and couldn't move. It only felt better to lay on my side. Finally at 10:00pm with much coaxing from friends I went to the hospital. They did an ultrasound, CT scan, and blood work and came to the conclusion that I had appendicitis and had to have emergency surgery at 1:50am to get it out. I was not expecting that at all. It was 6 times bigger then normal, it was dying, super diseased, and getting ready to rupture. Maybe I should have went to the hospital sooner. But at least they caught it in time right?

This last week after I had surgery it was my nieces 2yr old birthday on the 21st. We had an awesome time with her and it was great to see my family. Her birthday theme was toy story and oh how she loves Buzz. Its Buzz Buzz Buzz everything has to be Buzz. It was really funny to hear say Buzz every time she saw his picture. We went to Build-A-Bear and made her a bear with a Buzz outfit on. It was the cutest thing and she got her first bike which was Buzz of course.

Bear Lake

We went to bear lake this weekend and Oh Man what an adventure lol. First off we weren't exactly sure how to get there and by the time we got a hold of anyone to tell us how to get there we were almost out of cell range. But we figured it out. It was a busy weekend down there and there was no where to really camp. The place we found was called Ideal Beach. Ha ha what a joke of a name. It was so dirty and lets just say the beach sucked big time. We had a very interesting night to say the least first off 3 girls one tent hmm no idea how to even put it up. But it only took us 10 minutes so we did pretty good. We were getting ready for dinner and these people pulled up and asked us if we had a reservation we said no and they said they had a spot so we said there was one next to us. Little did we know we took their reservation. Oops sorry! Its ok they got us back by the husband snoring as loud as he could ALL NIGHT LONG. To add to that it rained all night and was super muggy. We had a fun night and went to the beach at sunset it was gorgeous.

Today we went to the beach again and it was cold. It was overcast windy and rainy. Not the best weather for a trying to get a tan and relax. Over all it was a fun trip and way too many fun memories to count! To top it all off we got the camping site for FREE! The office was closed when we got there so we figured we would just set up and pay in the morning. So we tried to go pay and the guy was like do you have a reservation and we said no and he just laughed and said well I don't want to do paper work and you were suppose to have a reservation so I'll just give it to you for free just as long as it is just one night! How awesome was that?

The Apartment!

I moved into my apartment just over a month ago and it has already flooded. It wasn't a way bad flood but every time you walked on the carpet water would squish through. It was so gross. Our landlord came over early in the morning like they always do and asked if we had any problems with water. I told him about the carpet and that the toilets kept running. He said that the apartment next to ours was flooded so he would have the plumber come over when he got done with the other apartment.

So the plumber came and fixed whatever was wrong. No one can say what it was we've heard a lot of stories. But needless to say 2 days later our carpet is still soaked and it smells really bad. It smells sour and stale. We have scrubbed all day long and can't get the smell out. Its driving me crazy.
